Financial Manager Opportunity

Our company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Manager to join our growing team. This is a critical role responsible for overseeing the financial health of the organization and providing strategic financial guidance to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements

• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Additional controller duties as necessary
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the annual budget process, providing insightful variance analysis and recommending corrective actions. Create and maintain financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks. Provide recommendations to improve profitability, efficiency, and cash flow.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
• Proven experience as a Financial Manager or similar role (5+ years).
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools.
